Race Driver Coaching and Instructing
Andre is a test driver for Geoff Steele racing sportscar team. He is also one of the FF CORSE European driver coaches, instructing in Ferrari 430’s and 360 Challenge race cars.
For novice drivers who want to learn more about racing techniques and for drivers wanting to progress from track days to actual racing Andre can provide one to one tuition at a circuit of your choice. Some drivers prefer to share the coaching and this can be accommodated to a maximum group of 4 drivers.
The best thing with private tuition is that it can be tailored very much to the individual or small group. A days coaching would provide a mixture of race tuition and practical demonstrations. For drivers looking to progress to racing, areas such as overtaking, defending position etc will be covered.
Some ‘Race instructors’ can over complicate racing techniques and baffle you with racing jargon. Naturally there is more to it than brake later and apply the power earlier, but Andre prefers to keep the coaching as straight forward as possible.
When taking up a sport such as golf people do not think twice about having coaching lessons and private tuition, but for some reason in motorsport people seem to think nothing of taking to a race track for the first time in their beloved car and hurtling it into the unknown with no knowledge or instruction!
