Andre was born in London and from an early age became familiar with Motor Racing circuits as his father Richard was at that time racing first in Formula Ford and then later in the Alfa Romeo championship. Andre has progressed from karts when he was 11 years old, through various single seater championships in the UK and America through to his current involvement in Sportscars. When Andre is not racing he is usually either working to raise money to go racing or working out at the gym. Andre works in the family business and also instructs at the race schools of Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Donington. Andre has had the full support of his family throughout his racing career and in 1997 when Andre raced in the Formula First championship he was also helped by the Formula One Club, Formula Solutions and So Clean. In 1998 Andre had the additional support of Virgin Vie Independent Cosmetics. All of these organisations have continued their support through to the current day.

Andre has already proven in his career that in equal equipment he is able to compete with the very best and even when using inferior equipment he has shown that he can still win races.
